​Costing Supported Internships (SI) – a resource for providers

The SI costing tool was created with 30+ providers from across the sector. The tool is designed to allow providers to record and gain a more informed understanding of the costs of delivering the SI programme in a setting. It will also help in understanding: 

  •    - the costs of different elements of the programme 

  •  - typical/average costs, e.g. at the individual intern level 

  •  - with financial planning. 

​Supervision in Education Quality Standards Framework

Effective supervision can play a key role in supporting education professionals in their work. Written with fourteen organisations across the sector, the Supervision in Education Quality Standards Framework provides guidance for supervisors, commissioners of supervision, training providers, senior leaders and managers in education settings to help them to plan, implement and participate in effective supervision. 

Taking action for care experienced children and young people in schools

Designed as a practical resource, the book is aimed at professionals working with care-experienced learners, including designated teachers and Virtual School colleagues. Developed in partnership with schools and Virtual School teams from across England, it brings together learning from research and from working closely with practitioners, it offers a clear and accessible overview of what we currently know about supporting this group of learners.  

​Kinship Padlet - a resource to support kinship carers and professionals

Developed in partnership with Achieving for Children and Surrey Virtual School, this online resource brings together national and local guidance, information and support for kinship carers and the professionals who work with them. Created in response to feedback from kinship carers and education professionals, the Padlet provides a comprehensive, easy-to-use hub of resources that can be accessed and shared with ease.
